Privacy Policy
BHUVO Technologies Private Limited (“BHUVO”, “we”, “us”) builds software products and delivers client engineering work. This policy explains what personal data we collect through bhuvo.tech and our business relationships, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
1. Who we are
BHUVO Technologies Private Limited, Flat No. 110, Prime Block, Hasini Infra Apartments, Gorantla, Guntur – 522034, Andhra Pradesh, India. For anything in this policy, contact info@bhuvo.com or +91 9985 290 291.
We are the data fiduciary (controller) for data collected through this website and our direct business dealings. When we build or operate software for a client, that client is the controller of their end-users' data and we act as a processor under our contract with them — this policy does not govern that data.
2. Data we collect
- Information you give us. Name, email address, phone number, company name, and whatever you write in the message field when you submit our contact form, email us, or call us.
- Business and project data. If you become a client: billing details, GSTIN, contract terms, project documentation, and any credentials or systems access you grant us to do the work.
- Technical data. IP address, browser type and version, device and screen characteristics, referring URL, pages viewed, and timestamps — collected automatically by our hosting infrastructure and analytics.
We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18, and we do not collect special-category data (health, biometric, financial account credentials, political or religious views) through this website.
3. Why we use it, and our legal basis
- To respond to your enquiry and scope a possible engagement — on your consent, given when you submit the form.
- To deliver contracted work, invoice you, and provide support — necessary for performance of our contract with you.
- To operate and secure the site, diagnose faults, and prevent abuse — our legitimate interest in running a functioning service.
- To meet tax, accounting, and statutory obligations under Indian law — legal obligation.
We do not sell your personal data, rent it, or share it with advertising networks. We do not use your data or your project's content to train machine-learning models.
4. Who we share it with
We share data only with service providers who process it on our instructions, under contract, and only as far as their function requires:
- Hosting and infrastructure — Vercel, Amazon Web Services, Supabase.
- Communications — our email provider, and Meta's WhatsApp Business API where you contact us over WhatsApp.
- Payments — Razorpay and our banking partners, for client invoicing.
- Professional advisers — accountants and legal counsel, where necessary.
We will also disclose data where a valid legal process requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim.
5. International transfers
Some of the providers above operate servers outside India. Where personal data leaves India, we rely on the provider's standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard, and transfer only to countries not restricted by the Central Government under the DPDP Act.
6. Cookies and analytics
This site uses cookies and equivalent storage that are strictly necessary for it to load, render, and stay secure. Any analytics we run is limited to aggregate traffic measurement — we do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.
7. How long we keep it
- Enquiries that don't become projects — 24 months from last contact, then deleted.
- Client and project records — for the term of the engagement plus 8 years, as required by Indian tax and companies legislation.
- Server and access logs — up to 12 months.
8. Security
We encrypt data in transit with TLS, restrict access to production systems to the engineers who need it, use multi-factor authentication on our infrastructure accounts, and review access on project rotation. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your personal data we will notify you and the Data Protection Board of India as the DPDP Act requires.
9. Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 — and the GDPR if you are in the EU or UK — you can ask us to:
- Give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you, and tell you who we shared it with.
- Correct data that is inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date.
- Erase data we no longer have a lawful reason to keep.
- Withdraw consent you previously gave — this does not affect processing already carried out.
- Nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf if you die or become incapacitated.
- Object to, or ask us to restrict, processing based on our legitimate interests.
Email info@bhuvo.comwith the subject line “Data request”. We respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India, or to your local supervisory authority if you are in the EU or UK.
10. Third-party sites
Our site links to our own products — Waqly, AptLedger, EasyMedicalCertificate, Zenora.ai — and to external services. Those are governed by their own privacy policies, not this one.
11. Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our practices or the law change. The effective date at the top always reflects the current version. For material changes, we will notify active clients by email.
